Eugene Mirman

I had heard of this fellow before, but had not really realized how good he is until I stumbled upon some of his YouTube videos by accident. The best ones seem to be posted by SubPop Records. From his chillingly dystopian vision of the future, to his unflinching portrayal of the punk lifestyle, to his unapologetic close-up examination of the inherent difficulties and contradictions engendered by the very concept of Canada, Eugene Mirman takes a flashlight of truth and brutally illuminates whatever subject he shines it on, metaphorically speaking.
