Boognish Brown Ale

At the local pizza restaurant they have some proprietary ales. Last night I tried one called "Boognish Brown Ale." That is a terrible name for a beer, since anyone who knows what Boognish is will have an inevitable scatalogical association with the word "brown." I guess that's the whole point of the joke, but still. The beer was your typical stout, by which I mean it tastes like watered-down non-creamy Guinness. Not bad, light enough that you could probably drink a couple of them without getting offended, but not so fantastic that you really want to order a second one. Oddly, the first taste carried a strong undertone of pork, something which scared me a little at first, but which didn't continue past the first sip.
