A New Greeting

Where I'm from, simply staring back at a person is considered greeting enough. Or, if you are an asshole, you can also throw in a "What's up?" with a little backwards nod for flair. But in this complex and beautiful world full of French People, Californians, Professionals, Europeans, DJs, Potential New Bosses, Swedes, People You Just Met Last Week, Friends of Friends, MySpace "Friends", People You Want to Buy You a Drink/Give you a Cigarette, Co-workers, Good Friends That You Are Kind of Mad At, Current Boyfriends of Future Girlfriends, Standoffish People, People You Already Greeted Earlier in the Day and Chileans, it's hard to know in any given situation which greeting to administer, when anything from a firm handshake to a full-body hug with butt squeeze might be appropriate. This video from The Spew deals with this delicate issue in a way that I think most people will find enlightening and refreshing.
