Russian Stripe Paintings

For some reason, Russians keep posting this image, or one that looks like it, in their blogs. What does it mean? It does not seem to be that they are blogging about their favorite stripe painter. I cannot figure it out. Perhaps it's some kind of vector for malicious code, so look out all you PC users!
