Red Hook

I am working in Red Hook this week. It is one of New York's "good-time" neighborhoods. There are fun things to do there. There is even a kind of beer named after the place, although I think it is made somewhere else. Today GC and I were talking about painting, and decided that Walton Ford is better than Alexis Rockman, if for no other reason than he knows how to wear long pants. Also he doesn't paint any 3-species amalgamations. No-one likes those.

Tonite Seymour Hersh was on the Majority Report talking about his article about the coming nuking of Iran. One wonders if we will finally be able to nuke Russia too, in the resulting aftermath.
